The Idols

There was an old couple who were very poor and very hungry, and they wanted to have some food so the husband suggested to his wife to buy some food, spending their last money. He went to the rice shop at the town and bought the cheapest rice, which included rotten and mouldy rice, for his wife and the most expensive rice for his a lover, who was 20 years younger than him. After shopping, he tried going to his lover’s house to give it to her but, on the way, he saw some Idols which were covered by snow. He thought these Idols were poor so he gave the cheap rice to them and, instead of going to see his lover, he took the expensive rice home to his wife. He was kind and he tried to love his wife again but his wife already knew that her husband had a lover so she was waiting for an opportunity to kill him. When he got to the house, he gave her the rice. At the time she pretended to be happy and smile, even though she suspected. Next morning, they saw a lot of weapons outside of their house because these idols had taken them to their house the night before for revenge. When she saw the weapons, she couldn’t control her mind anymore, so the wife took an axe and cut his neck crazily and smiled.
